you can find the center of balance of a ship by pressing f3+b, a small orange cube will be at the center of the balance.

the Debug Chair has a facing value which does nothing, you can sit in it

the Debug Hinge can be place in all directions - when right clicked it will create a shipified iron block above it. The iron block rotates perpendicular to the hinge. If you break the hinge it will stay put. the hinge has no friction and will spin forever.
